Jessie Booth

The Auckland (NZ) based multi-instrumentalist & songwriter is a Jazz Performance Major with a passion for Rock n Roll.

Throughout her career, Jessie has worked with prolific multi-platinum New Zealand artists, such as Elemeno P, Gin Wigmore, Ladyhawke, and Jordan Luck. 

Jessie has solidified her name in the NZ Rock scene playing in Rock & Punk bands Ekko Park (nominated twice for Best Rock Artist at the Aotearoa Music Awards), Blue Ruin, and She Loves You. During her time with these bands, Jessie toured with, and opened for international acts such as Buckcherry (US), Cherie Currie (US - original singer of The Runaways), The Charlatans (UK) & Steel Panther (US).

On top of this, Jessie is part of the collaborative Hip Hop EP 'Nightwaves' with artist Mazbou Q. She has a long history in Musical Theatre, and has played shows in the Wellington Opera House & Aotea Centre. Jessie has been on the judging panel for the country's largest nation-wide High School Band Competition 'Smokefree Rockquest since 2021.

Jessie previously taught Guitar & Music Theory at the University of Auckland, and continues to teach guitar privately & online. She is intensely passionate about the joy music can bring and loves to work with individuals to get their personal best.
